Day 32 – 21st April

8.30am – Large slice of pineapple, glass of orange juice

10.30am – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

12.30 pm – Lounge eggs = 2 poached eggs on a muffin with a lice of crispy bacon & hollandaise sauce, cup of decaff coffee, milk

3.00pm – Cup of tea, milk

5.00pm – Small bowl of fruit & fibre cereal, milk

8.30pm – Half a lager

9.00pm – Charcoal chicken pieces, rice, stir fry veg, glass of wine

Reflection of Day 32:

  • Lunch with a friend who had pudding so pleased I resisted!
  • We had ordered a starter with supper but the restaurant forgot so I ‘resisted’ hummus and bread!
  • Pleased with my week-end alone. Could have been a diet disaster!

Day 31 – 20th April

Free day!

1.00pm – Open sandwich = slice of wholemeal bread, salad, slice of ham

4.30pm – Half slice of lemon drizzle cake, cup of tea, milk

8.30pm – Tesco individual moussaka (600 cals), rocket, ‘light’ French dressing, glass of wine

9.30pm – Strawberries, natural yogurt

Reflections on Day 31:

  • As I was going out for the day with a friend, I picked Louise’s idea of a free day. Relaxed with what went into my mouth!
  • We did quite a bit of walking around the house but not at pace

Day 30 – 19th April

7.15am – Banana, cup of tea, milk, glass of orange, Benacol

11.00am – Tuna sandwich (as yesterday), cup of decaff coffee

1.00pm – Large slice of pinapple, cup of tea

8.00pm – Tesco fish pie (400 cals), green beans, glass of wine

9.00pm – Strawberries, natural yoghurt

Reflections on Day:

  • Jigged about to loud music while cleaning. Got sweaty!
  • Walked 2 miles at pace
  • Enjoyed having my ‘own’ menu

Day 29 – 18th April

7.30am – Banana, cup of tea, milk, glass of orange

10.30am – Tuna sandwich with salad (no mayo), cup of decaff coffee

2.00pm – Cup of tea, milk, cookie biscuit

7.30pm – Half a lager

8.30pm – Third of a pizza,  glass of wine ****

9.30pm – Half a snickers / mars

10.00pm – Cup of decaff

Reflections on Day 29:

  • Not a good day but… hubby going away tomorrow so we were out for supper. Pub did not have a table so went to another one that only does pizzas!
  • Didn’t need the biscuit but it was there!
  • Hubby regarded the evening as a Friday and we have chocolate on Friday!!
  • Walked approx 2 miles at a reasonable pace

Day 28 – 17th April

7.30am – Banana, cup of tea. milk, glass of orange, Benecol

10.00am – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

12.30pm – 2 slices wholemeal toast, tinned spaghetti, cup of tea, milk, plum, 1 satsuma

4.00pm – Cup of tea, milk, half a toasted tea cake, smear of butter

7.30pm – 1 smoked haddock fishcake, salad, 3 small new potatoes

9.00pm – Grapes, natural yogurt

10.00pm – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

 

Reflections on Day 28:

  • Good to have only eaten half a tea cake
  • Bad to have eaten half a teacake (!) but I blame the silly day before!

Day 27 – 16th April

7.30 am – Banana, cup of tea, milk, glass of orange, Benecol

10.30 am – Cup of decaff coffee, milk, seeded bread roll (no butter)

1.00pm – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

3.00pm – Cup of tea, milk, half a vegetable panni

4.30pm – 1 satsuma

8.00pm – Salmon, green beans

9.00pm – Grapes, natural yogurt

10.00pm – Cup of decaff coffee, milk, 1 small cracker biscuits

Reflections on Day 27:

  • Messy day having a meeting at 1pm which was too late & too early to eat.
  • Ran out of potatoes for supper so needed a biscuit before bed.

Day 26 – 15th April

7.30am – Banana, cup of coffee, milk, glass of orange, Benecol drink

11.00am – One and a half prawn mayo sandwiches (Tesco), 2 cups of coffee, milk, half a bag of crsips

2.00pm – 1 satsuma

3.00pm – 1 Apple, cup of tea, milk

5.00pm – Small bowl of Fruit ‘n’ Fibre cereal, milk, cup of tea

8.00pm – Tuna, salad, new potatoes, small blob of light mayo

9.00pm – Grapes, natural yogurt

10.00pm – Cup of decaff coffee

Reflections on Day 26:

  • Good to get back into a routine having stayed away over the week-end.
  • Felt very tired so couldn’t resist the bowl of cereal

Day 25 – 14th April

Christening day!

7.30am – Cup of tea, milk

11.00am – Cup of coffee, milk

12.00pm – Buffet – Half a tuna sandwich, 1 mozzarella stick, 1 small samosa, glass of wine

4.30pm – Cup of tea, milk, small chocolate penguin biscuit

8.00pm – Half a lager

8.30pm – Avocado, mozzarella, rocket salad, salmon pasta, tomato sauce, glass of wine

10.00pm – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

Reflections of Day 25:

  • It was a wonderful day but not good for sensible eating. I was not hungry at the buffet time
  • Cross about the penguin but I was hungry when we got back home and we did not have any bread for toast!
  • Sunday – so supper out and it was not too bad given the rest of the day.
  • Felt good with the company at the christening, most of whom I had not seen for 2 years.

Day 24 – 13th April

8.30am – Banana, cup of tea, milk, glass of orange, Benecol

10.30am – Tuna sandwich, handful of crisps, cup of decaff coffee

4.30pm – Cup of tea, milk, chocolate medallion

8.30pm – Take away curry, glass of wine

Reflections of Day 23:

  • Travelled to my son in the afternoon to meet up for a swim with my 5 month old grand daughter. Back to theirs for take away
  • Made sensible choices for the curry
  • Exercise – several lengths of the pool

Day 23 – Friday 12th April

8.30am – Banana, cup of tea, milk, glass of orange, Benecol

10.00am – Cup of coffee, milk, 2 small cracker biscuits

1.00pm – Slice of wholemeal toast, baked beans, cup of tea, milk

4.00pm – 1 satsuma, 1 plum

6.30pm – Half a lager, half a small packet of crisps

8.00pm – Home made spaghetti with prawns, glass of wine

9.00pm – Half a snickers / mars bar

Reflections on Day 23:

  • No hot drinks out so no cakes / biscuits
  • Tried my dress on for the christening on Sunday and it is a bit looser!
  • Got onto the treadmill (we have one at home) but had to stop as my hip ached from the chiro treatment yesterday
  • Fridays are tradition and it will be v difficult to change these habits!
