Day 40 – 29th April

7.30am – Banana, cup of tea, milk, glass of orange, Benecol

11.00 am – One and a half prawn mayo sandwiches (Tesco), cup of coffee

2.00 pm – Cup of tea, milk, apple

5.00 pm – Cup of tea, milk, small bowl of fruit & fibre cereal

8.00 pm – Salad, one large fishcake, one small new potato

9.00 pm – Strawberries, natural yogurt

10.00 pm – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

Reflections on Day 40:

  • Pleased I refused a chocolate bar at school
  • Exercise – 20 minutes on treadmill
  • Good to have a ‘good’ day

Day 39 – 28th April Sunday

8.30 am – Banana, cup of tea, milk, glass of orange, Benecol

11.30 am – Smalll grilled gammon steak, two poached eggs, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms, cup of decaff coffee

3.30 pm – Cup of tea, quarter of cheese sandwich

8.30pm – Half brushetta, small crab cake, pasta with tomatoes, chicken & chorizo, glass of wine

10.30 pm – Cup of decaff coffee, milk, large satsuma

Reflections on Day 39:

  • Sunday so out for supper.  Went to Prezzo. Small starter.
  • Good that I didn’t have a cake /. scone with cup of tea at 3.30pm which would be normal.
  • Feel very unfulfilled with this.  I have no scales so can only ‘feel’ any effects and weight loss. Not sure the Flog is working. Ideas please!

Day 38 – 27th April

7.30 am – Banana, cup of tea, milk, glass of orange, Benecol

10.00 am – Half an egg sandwich

11.00am – Cup of decaff coffee, milk, small bite of chocolate tiffin

12.00pm – Cheese and onion sandwich

2.30pm – Cup of coffee, milk

6.30pm – Half a lager, packet of crisps

9.00pm – Half of small tapas dishes – potatas bravas, cray fish & prawns, chopped hallumi, beetroot and goats cheese rissoto, glass of wine

10.30pm Cup of decaff coffee, milk

Reflections on Day 38:

It was a football match (we support Gillingham therefore every game is an away match!) hence sandwiches and supper out

  • Pleased I didn’t have a piece of tiffin myself
  • Sad about a whole packet of crisps but I was starving and the pub we had planned to have supper at was not doing food!
  • Spent the day static so felt quite lumpy by the end of it.

Day 37 – 26th April

7.30am – Cup of tea, milk, banana, Benecol

10.30am – Cup of coffee, milk, half an egg sandwich

12.30pm – Chicken and mushroom soup, slice of Mediterranean bread

2.00pm – Large satsuma, plum

4.00pm – Cup of tea, milk

6.30pm – Half a lager, half a packet of crisps

8.00pm – Home made pasta with chicken, mushrooms, glass of wine

9.30pm – Half  Snickers / Mars

Reflections on Day 37:

  • Reduced the amount of chocolate we ate in the evening.
  • Had treatment on my back so not able to do the treadmill. Will definitely start in earnest next week!
  • The half sandwich meant I did not eat as much lunch.

Day 36 – 25th April

7.00am – Banana, glass of orange, Benecol

10.00am – Cup of coffee, milk, small chocolate bar (can't remember name!)

2.00pm – Tuna sandwich, salad, half a packet crisps, cup of decaff coffee, milk

4.00pm – Large satsuma, plum, cup of tea

8.00pm – Home made cottage pie, green beans,

9.00pm – Strawberries, natural yogurt

10.00pm – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

 

Reflections of Day 36:

  • Meeting started at 8.00am but went on until 1.30pm!! Starving mid morning hence chocolate!
  • Late having sandwich hence crisps!!
  • Been considering comments and I'll have a think about having more to eat mid morning.

Day 35 – 24th April

7.30am – Banana, cup of tea, milk, glass of orange juice, Benecol

11.00 am – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

1.30pm – Tuna sandwich,

3.00pm – Cup of tea, milk

8.00pm – Pork loin, new potatoes, broccoli, gravy

9.00pm – Strawberries, natural yogurt

10.00pm – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

 

Reflections on Day 35

  • Lots of opportunities for naughty things which I resisted
  • Little bit of walking around Bristol

Day 34 – 23rd April

7.30am – Banana, cup of tea, milk, glass of orange, Benecol

10.30am – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

12.30pm – Two small ciabatta rolls, refried beans with chopped onions and tomatoes

2.30pm – One satsuma

6.00pm – Half a lager

8.00pm – One and a half poppadums, pickle tray dips, lamb curry, rice, cauliflower bhaji

10.00pm – Strawberries, natural yogurt, cup of decaff coffee

 

Reflections on Day 34:

  • OK – disaster. Felt really low during the day and when a friend contacted us as he was working locally, we went for a drink and curry.
  • Not doing well really. Perhaps I should do weight watchers!

Day 33 – 22nd April

8.30am – Banana, cup of tea, milk, glass of orange

11.00am – one and a quarter prawn mayo sandwiches ( Tesco), cup of coffee

2.30pm – One apple, cup of tea, milk

5.00pm – Cup of tea, milk

8.00 pm – Small omelette with peppers, onions and ham

9.00pm – Two slices of pineapple

10.00pm – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

 

Reflections of Day 33:

  • Pleased that I didn't have a biscuit with tea at 5pm

Day 32 – 21st April

8.30am – Large slice of pineapple, glass of orange juice

10.30am – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

12.30 pm – Lounge eggs = 2 poached eggs on a muffin with a lice of crispy bacon & hollandaise sauce, cup of decaff coffee, milk

3.00pm – Cup of tea, milk

5.00pm – Small bowl of fruit & fibre cereal, milk

8.30pm – Half a lager

9.00pm – Charcoal chicken pieces, rice, stir fry veg, glass of wine

Reflection of Day 32:

  • Lunch with a friend who had pudding so pleased I resisted!
  • We had ordered a starter with supper but the restaurant forgot so I ‘resisted’ hummus and bread!
  • Pleased with my week-end alone. Could have been a diet disaster!

Day 31 – 20th April

Free day!


8.00 am – large slice of pineapple, glass of orange juice, Benecol

12.00 pm – Cup of decaff coffee, milk

1.00pm – Open sandwich = slice of wholemeal bread, salad, slice of ham

4.30pm – Half slice of lemon drizzle cake, cup of tea, milk

8.30pm – Tesco individual moussaka (600 cals), rocket, ‘light’ French dressing, glass of wine

9.30pm – Strawberries, natural yogurt

Reflections on Day 31:

  • As I was going out for the day with a friend, I picked Louise’s idea of a free day. Relaxed with what went into my mouth!
  • We did quite a bit of walking around the house but not at pace
